Why Mardi? – Your Ultimate Distribution Assistant

Managing distribution is quite challenging. Controlling stock levels, placing orders, and monitoring debts… Application Mardi was specifically designed to simplify these processes. It is an application developed by the Balance team and fully integrated with the Balance system, making daily operations easier for sales representatives.

1. Full Stock Control

Mardi allows you to check available and reserved stock in real time.

  • Pre-sellers monitor warehouse stock and place orders without unnecessary over-reservations.
  • Van-sellers track the quantity of products on their vehicle, minimizing errors during direct sales.

Example: If the system’s stock tracking mode is set to "Available Stock" and there are 50 units in the warehouse, but 10 are already reserved, Mardi will only display 40 as available for sale.

2. Buyer Debt Monitoring

The app always shows each customer’s debt. Additional features, such as credit limit controls and document restrictions for overdue payments, can be enabled.

  • Mardi prevents new orders or sales if a buyer exceeds their credit limit. 
  • Mardi blocks transactions with that buyer if overdue payment control is activated in Balance, and a buyer has an overdue debt.

Example (Credit Limits): If a buyer has a 5,000 GEL credit limit and has already used 4,800 GEL, Mardi will allow transactions only up to 200 GEL.

3. Simplified Document Processing

Mardi enables easy processing of:

✔ Payments

  • Pre-sellers place orders directly in the app, automatically syncing with Balance.
  • Van-sellers complete sales, generating sub-invoices that sync with Balance.
  • Distributors register payments directly in the app, creating a cash receipt in Balance.
  • Returns are processed in Mardi, generating return requests that can be finalized in Balance.

4. Multi-Database Management

If a sales representative works with multiple companies, Mardi allows switching between databases with a single click, ensuring separate tracking of stock levels and customer debts for each business.

5. Additional Features for Efficiency

Beyond core distribution management, Mardi includes:
Credit limit enforcement – Prevents transactions exceeding customer limits.
Branch-level payment tracking – View debts per branch and process transactions accordingly.
Serial number tracking – Displays serialized product information.
Stock movement tracking – Monitor product transfers between locations.
Invoice-based debt tracking – Track specific sales transactions and their payment status.
Multiple price types & price editing – Set and modify pricing as needed.
Product images – Attach images to product listings for easy identification.

6. Integration & Technical Requirements

Mardi is developed using Google Flutter and fully integrates with Balance, supporting both on-premise and cloud-based databases.
